National Women's Day with Tiler Peck
"I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong.
I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls.
I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I believe in miracles." - Audrey Hepburn
August 9th is National Women's Day and we are celebrating a little bit different this year! Our most recent collection was a part of our partnership with the marvelous and infamous, Tiler Peck. It has been such a pleasure (and might we add "perfect pair") to share this wonderful experience with America's favorite ballerina, and on top of that, we've added another layer.
Together, we decided that these pieces were unique and special, and we wanted them to have a deeper meaning. Each one of the stunning pieces of The Tiler Peck Collection are named after women that have inspired Tiler through out her life.
"It felt special to name the pieces in my latest collection after the women who have inspired me most. From my most treasured teachers Heather Watts, Suki Schorer, and Marguerite Derricks, to idols I grew up watching like Vera Ellen and Elizabeth Parkinson, to ballerinas I admire and look up to, and strong forces of nature like Debbie Allen and Susan Stroman, each of these incredible women have made a tremendous impact on me and it is my honor to pay them homage in this collection."
On National Women's Day (and everyday!), try to find inspiration everywhere, see the good in those around you, and stand tall and be confident in who you are.
And tell us... which piece from Tiler Peck's Collection inspires you most?
It's hard to choose a favorite, but here are a few we love...
