Virtual Pointe Shoe Fitting

I have tried on hundreds of pointe shoes and owned dozens, including the invincible F.R. Duvals and Gaynor Mindens, and Elektra are still the best shoes I have ever had (that did not get discontinued, that is. RIP Repetto La Carlotta and RIP Russian Pointe Entrada). The invincibility and customization of Elektra is indispensible and there is no chance I would be able to wear another shoe. These are the best.

They look and feel traditional, people would be non the wiser upon looking.

Heel is high, which is good because otherwise they slip off on me. Super durable. Shank is not bulky, so the shoes are easy to stand in on flat. Suede soles grip the floor well, but suede attract dirt easily so I suggest buying pointe shoe covers for class (then removing them before your performance). The elastic they gave me was also of amazing quality.

If you destroy shanks, need a lot of options, and cannot stand other shoes you have tried, then this is worth giving a chance.

You will be sent several pairs of shoes and shanks for you to try, and they make it effortless to ship back the items you do not want to keep.

Fittings take a while happen; you may have to wait a couple of weeks, but the person who fitted me was really quite knowledgeable and friendly.

Just be patient.

I thought the fitting was great, It took multiple shipments to get the right shoe but I think the fitting specialist did a good job listening to what I needed and answering my questions. The whole process was smooth and easy and I felt like I was the only priority at my fittings. The shipping was fast and easy to return.

I did a virtual fitting on zoom with the so danca fitters and they were super helpful with getting me my perfect pointe shoes! I ended up going with the Elektras with the higher vamp to support my feet. I love the way they feel and my teachers love them too... now my friends are signing up for these fittings too! Definitely recommend.
