Daughter just played Peggy Sawyer in 42nd St., and needed a taller character style tap

These were perfect. We had some issues with shipping, but they were super helpful and got them to me overnight!

Fit was perfect - little to no break in time needed - we went up a full size from her street shoe but knew we needed that based on her other so danca character shoes.

I love the look of the t strap shoes. They are very comfortable as far as tap shoes go, and they look great.

I like the height of the heel- it makes me legs look longer but isn't too high. After a day-ish to break them in, I actually felt these were pretty comfortable taps to stand in during rehearsals. My feet hurt far less than in my normal character shoes after a long day of dancing. However, the heel has begun to separate from the base and the toebox has already cracked. I'm super bummed as the comfort cannot outweigh the fact that they're not made to withstand multiple performances. $100 is too much for a shoe to only last one production!

We bought this pair of shoes for a large group performance. We started rehearsing in them in September, at most they were worn for 2 hours a week since we received them and the side seams are already ripped open. This happened to at least 6 out of 20 dancers and the season hasn't even started. So disappointed! The $100 price point was putting me in the assumption these were quality shoes but now I know they were just overpriced.
