In the product description it says "with a mesh lining at the leg line". I initially skipped over this part and just bought it on a whim. This single feature makes this product 100x better than what it would otherwise be.
The Leonardo is such a well thought out product. It's brilliant. I like the curve of the thong back. The belt is makes contact in all the right places, yet the fabric is fluid enough to not be uncomfortable after long periods of wear. This is huge as most dance belts and belt/leo's make it feel like you are being sawed in half.
My second favorite dance belt (which is a belt/leo) is the wear moi versao. I dont know if i just need to size up with the versao, but it does start to feel like you are getting sawed in half after like an hour. It would be very interesting to see a leotard version of this dance belt (the leonardo). I would certainly buy it
There are of course some minor things that could be improved on the quality side, but the overall concept of the design gets EVERYTHING right. However, The waist band tends to fold over on itself during wear and this can cause it to bunch up, making it more visible underneath tights. I think the leonardo either needs to have zigzag stitching like on both of the other dance belts (the Maverick and the Hero), or more preferably, just a better waist band like the one on the Dance Jox (4th image).
Ultimately that is the only change I would make. I don't feel like i need to size up, the waist band just needs some…
